Welcome Dr. Yasser Barsoum, nephrologist

Please join in welcoming Dr. Yasser Barsoum to the St. Joseph’s Active Medical Staff. His services include kidney disease, hypertension, renal dialysis, electrolytes disorders and transplant consultation. 

Dr. Barsoum received his medical school education at the Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where he was honored as the “most humanistic resident.” During his fellowship in nephrology and hypertension at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Barsoum was named Chief Fellow. Dr. Barsoum is board certified in Internal Medicine.  

Please welcome Dr. Barsoum and his family to our hospital and community!

Dr. Barsoum will begin seeing patients on the units in August and in his office in September.
